Pashley bike browsing!

Hello! So recently I have been after a vintage pashley style bike! I have finally found a vintage one ( not a pashley) as I thought it would be a lot cheaper to just do it up myself! But I did go to a shop in Chester to get some inspiration for my bike, I thought I would share you two photos I took and then a few others that I have used for inspiration! Hopefully they will inspire you to do up your own bikes aswell!

Current clothing wish list!

Hello! I have been hitting the online shops a lot recently and here are just a few things that I've been lusting after recently!

1. This gorgeous maschino style belt is from river island, these belts are perfect for making a skater skirt & top combo look more 'complete' -£15

2. Floppy hat- miss selfridge- I recently tried this beautiful hat on in the miss selfridge store and fell in love! It's £28 which is a tad pricey, but you could definitely find some dupes on eBay!

3. Jeffrey Campbell coltranes- I'm OBSESSED- with these shoes and I'm currently bidding on a pair on eBay, you can buy them online for £150 at yayer.com.

3. Transparent Cambridge satchel bag- I have seen quite a few pictures around the Internet of this bag being worn by a few different people! I think it's very unique and so original, although I'm not sure the world is ready for a view of my grubby handbag contents it sure is fabulous! I haven't been able to find any of these online yet?!?!?!

4. This last item deserved a whole picture of its own! I often spend time looking though black milk clothing and wishing I was rich ( sigh) and this amazing swimsuit caught my eye straight away. If you know me you know that I'm OBSESSED with alice in wonderland and always have been! It prices at £60- but I would also have to pay customs:((.

Thanks for reading, what have you got your eye on at the moment? Lots of love alice xxx

How I Style: Jelly Shoes!

Hello! Happy Easter from yesterday! I had a great day and even though it was freezing outside it got me into a summery mood.

A few months ago while browsing through Topshop I found a pair of jelly shoes! I hadn't seen anybody wearing a pair for years, they were my favourite shoes when I was about 5 years old and I knew that I would have to purchase a pair! They were originally £24 ( which is very reasonable in my opinion) but in the sale they had been knocked down to £12. However when I went to the checkout to pay he only charged me £5 for them! Such a bargain!
They are a light pink colour with white buckles at each side, I haven't worn them out yet but I can't wait to! These shoes definitely aren't very 'me' But it's always good to try something new! They are quite hard to style so I have put a quick and simple outfit together! Enjoy.
Here are my pair of gorgeous jelly sandals! The original make is 'JuJu'.

This is what I put with the shoes! I am wearing my gorgeous pinafore from Topshop which was £36 and I have worn loads. Underneath I'm just wearing one of my dads old jumpers from next! I then wore my backpack from Urban Outfitters which was only £20 in the sale. It toughens up the outfit slightly and is super comfy!
You could wear these shoes with bare feet in the warmer weather but I have worn colourful socks today! As you can see (on the left) you could always match them with a pair of super cute frilly socks.  I actually went for just plain mint green socks, they match perfectly with the 'ice cream'pastel theme.

Girls have so much hair that it seems a waste to just wear it down all the time! Today I tried out a new style for me. I feel like mickey mouse but it's so comfy and adds a twist of originality into this outfit! I know it's very messy and I do need to practise A LOT!

When it comes to my lips I love to mix colours together and experiment! Here I'm wearing two Rimmel lipsticks: 077 ASIA & KATE MOSS FOR RIMMEL O4.

Two gorgeous pairs of jelly shoes from Topshop! Both only £20, I especially love the clear but glittery pair! SO GLAM.

Spring/Birthday Wishlist!

Hello! I have another wishlist today! I love sharing everything that I have my eye on with you and its my birthday coming up in 3 weeks, I thought this would be the perfect time to do a small (ish) wishlist! Enjoy.

Ok so the main thing I am getting for my birthday is a bike! (top left) I am going to look at some vintage ones on Saturday so this image is just a picture of the type of bike that I would like! The rest of the photos are things from Cath Kidston that I would like with my bike ( eg. for going on picnics with friends etc.)! Cath Kidston has some great and really pretty outdoor pieces for S/S!
This gorgeous shirt is from Urban Outfitters and is £45! I have recently purchased two pinafores and this shirt will go perfectly! Its very versatile and is definitely a statement piece!
I am going to buy a whole new make-up set of EVERYTHING (but will do a separate blog post when I have purchased the items). The main product I want to try out is the Bobbi Brown foundation! It prices at £30 which may sound like a lot but I don't mind paying a lot for a foundation as long as it does everything that it promises!

For years sports bags like 'Jansport' and 'Berghaus' were seen as uncool. Which is why I think that these bags from Urban Outfitters are amazing! They have taken a different spin on the boring old sports bags and have about 5 different colours/patterns of them. They will be great for bike rides in the summer. This one is £45 which I think is reasonable considering it has been customised!

When I was shopping yesterday I tried on these Doc Martin knock off's in Office! I instantly fell in love with the shape and pattern! They come in black as well which is a more 'me' colour ( But I have decided to try out something a little more new and colourful)! They are £45 and so very pretty!
Spring wouldn't be complete without a pair of sunglasses! I have a ridiculous amount of glasses but I have none like this! They are the 'double layer' sunglasses and are from Romwe! They are only £11.75 and will add a gothic twist to my outfits!

YAYER.COM- Picks!

Hello! Recently I have been feeling very bored of the same old shops (Topshop,Asos, etc.) and have been looking at some new, fresh online shops! These types of shops are often less expensive and have newer clothes! One that I have been liking yayer.com. It has some very unique but also simple pieces and will look great on anyone! The only disappointment is that there aren't that many clothes on the website ( although I think they change round a lot). They also have a small collection of Jeffrey Campbell's which is great because  as many of you will know it is extremely hard to find a website that sells some of the more rare pairs of JC's without having to pay high custom fees!

Although I have not purchased anything yet, I have found some really lovely pieces that I am going to share with you! Enjoy.

THE JEFFREY CAMPBELL FREDA-£100
I am in love with these babies! They are only £100 which I think is fantastic for a pair of brand new JC's! They are black and have a very distressed feel about them. They are a fantastic twist on a pair of boring litas!

Here are two pairs of Yayer's own shoes! STOMP LACE UP SHOES £42 (top) and BUCKLE UP FLATFORM SHOES £40 (bottom)! I personally prefer the bottom pair as they are more me and I find flatform's extremely comfortable. However both pairs have a very gothic and stylish feel to them! I think the price is great and would be worth a purchase!

HOLOGRAM SUNNIES-£15
With summer just around the corner I thought it would be good to add in a pair of sunnies! These definitely  wont be everyone's 'cup of tea' but I like them! I think they are very original and fun!

HEATHER 550 JEANS-£40
These 'mum' style high waisted jeans will be great for S/S! They are  just like any pair of vintage Levis but a little less pricey! I don't wear jeans as I can never find a pair to suit me and I don't find them comfortable at all! Will look forward to styling these in the summer!

DAZED DRESS £23
This super cute smiley face dress isn't very 'me' at all! However I absolutely love the shape and fit of it! I think the colours contrast together really well and could be great for day and night!

Sunglassses and Flowers!

Hello! Today I have a very ' me' outfit for you. I love this outfit and it was very easy to put together and could be worn anywhere. It's a very 'love or hate' outfit and some people will absolutely hate it. It's super comfy though and will be good for summer! I am wearing my beloved Wednesday Adams style dress that I bought in September, I have worn it loads and it's so easy to just chuck on and style up. Over that I am wearing my Pierce Fionda vintage jacket which again I have worn lots, as you are probably beginning to see that black is my favourite colour. This jacket is perfect for all seasons and will look amazing on anybody. It is an oversized blazer ( very oversized) so I do have to roll up the sleeves quite a bit. To add some colour to the outfit I have worn my pink floral Headband that I got in the Topshop sale last summer. It's amazing and the detail is lovely. Then because it was fairly sunny that day I wore my eBay sunglasses- they are very lady gaga inspired and were a complete bargain! Enjoy the outfit...

Dress- Romwe.com £27

Jacket- Lily Vintage £5

Sunglasses- eBay £2.99

Headband- Topshop £2.50 ( in sale)

Bag- Primark £12

Rings- Topshop and H&m

Lipstick- Mac 'ruby woo'

Bowler hat and backpack!

Hello! So I have a very casual and comfy outfit to show you! I'm starting to put some outfits together for spring already and this is one that I thought would be perfect for any spring day! You could add more layers and tights for cooler weather! I never thought that I could pull off a bowler hat! This one is from h&m and was only £15 which I think is very reasonable! They are great for those days were you need to add a twist to your outfit to 'spice things up!' This one is burgundy which works better with my dark hair! I do feel very 'clockwork orange' when I wear it! I have kept the rest of the outfit very simple and basic! Enjoy!

BLAZER- Lily Vintage £5
